Queen Anne is Leaving the Cunard Fleet

Queen Anne is Cunard’s newest ship and was handed over to Cunard Line on 19 April 2024. Her maiden voyage took place in May 2024, and she is the 249th vessel built for Cunard.

Her delivery to Cunard marked the first time since 1999 that Cunard had four ships in their fleet. But Queen Anne has been a controversial new ship for Cunard. Queen Anne’s interior steps away from the Cunard offering of recent years, offering a modern take on the Cunard cruise experience.

After just over two years of service, on 7 October 2026 it was announced that Queen Anne will leave the Cunard fleet in early 2029. After less than 5 years of Cunard service, she will transfer to P&O Cruises.

This announcement was made by P&O Cruises and Cunard president Paul Ludlow. It included details that Arcadia will herself transfer to Holland America Line.
